With the praise of God, the First Arab Community Conference in Britain concluded in London, with wide participation from members of the Arab community, alongside a distinguished group of diplomatic, academic, media, and social figures, as well as representatives from numerous legal, professional, and Arab associations and clubs in the United Kingdom.

After productive discussions, constructive workshops, and in-depth dialogues, the conference issued the following recommendations:

  • Establish a unified Arab institution to serve as an umbrella for all members of the Arab community, coordinating among Arab institutions and acting as a supreme council for the Arab community and society.

  • Emphasize the importance of not transferring political disputes from Arab countries of origin to the UK.

  • Cooperate with other minority communities (Asian, African, etc.) on shared issues.

  • Launch a bilingual (Arabic-English) radio station dedicated to the Arab community in Britain, addressing their issues, concerns, and aspirations.

  • Encourage second- and third-generation Arabs to engage in volunteer work, student activities, and political participation to enhance positive integration and civic involvement.

  • Promote integration into British society without assimilation, maintaining cultural identity and the Arabic language while participating actively in British life.

  • Coordinate within the Arab community on voting strategies for elections, balancing local British citizen issues with concerns of their countries of origin.

  • Unite efforts to support the Palestinian cause through a strong, effective, and unified Arab lobby, focusing on the humanitarian and rights aspects and connecting it to global justice issues.

  • Conduct academic field studies on the experiences of Arab communities in Britain to understand challenges and develop practical solutions.

  • Organize specialized training courses to support young activists interested in political and civic engagement, including analysis of the UK Parliament in line with community priorities.

  • Publish methodical books in English that present the facts of the Palestinian cause, providing the Palestinian narrative and the truth of the conflict.

  • Establish a legal framework to offer guidance to the Arab community, particularly supporting activists facing prosecution due to their advocacy for Palestine or broader Arab issues.

  • Use English in the activities and publications of institutions supporting Palestine and Arab causes in general.

  • Urge all members to become active participants in the Arab Community Conference in Britain.
